Jesus said of "Daniel the prophet," "Whoso readeth, let him understand." Matt. 24:15. Jesus speaks in Revelation: "The Revelation of Jesus Christ." "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." Rev. 1:1,3. Sir Isaac Newton, famous natural philosopher and discoverer of the law of gravitation, wrote: "Among the old prophecies, Daniel is most distinct in order of time and easiest to be understood, and therefore in those things which relate to the last times he must be made the key to the rest." "The Apocalypse [Revelation] of John is written in the same style and language with the prophecies of Daniel, and hath the same relation to them which they have to one another, so that all of them together make but one complete prophecy."
